Ribonuclease-enriched Lactoferrin (R-ELF) – Multi-Patented R-ELF Milk Protein Complex
Lactoferrin (LF) and Ribonuclease (RNase) co-exist in milk and other biological fluids as key regulatory molecules with specific functions in various physiological pathways. From a bone metabolism standpoint, both the proteins elicit potential effects individually as anabolic (bone and cartilage formation) and anti-resorption agents during aging process, disease and repair conditions. A synergistic effect of a combination of these two bio-active molecules (as R-ELF complex) to advance bone health was discovered by scientists at our laboratory.
